The setup lives inside Calendaraiml. Connect the calendar you already use, choose when guests should hear from you, and let each new booking start its reminder sequence.

Connect your calendar
Create your Calendaraiml account, then open Schedule to connect Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook. Set your availability and time zone so guests can choose a time that fits your schedule.

Enable SMS Notifications
Open SMS in your account and activate the $3.99/month SMS Notifications add-on. The built-in booking reminder flow is ready to configure without writing code or building your own messaging integration.

Choose your reminder times
Turn on Send SMS for bookings and select the intervals you want. Start with 24 hours and 1 hour before the appointment, or choose a different combination. Save your settings before sharing your booking page.

Share your booking page
Create a reusable booking link from New Event and send it to your guests. With SMS enabled, the booking page offers a phone number field. Guests who provide a mobile number can receive a booking confirmation and the reminders you selected.

Does this work with Google Calendar and Outlook?
Yes. Calendaraiml connects to Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook for availability and booking creation. SMS reminders are configured in Calendaraiml for appointments made through your booking pages.
How much do SMS appointment reminders cost?
The Calendaraiml SMS Notifications add-on is $3.99/month. Scheduling is available on the free calendar plan, and SMS is an optional paid add-on. AiMLText’s standalone business messaging plans are separate from this Calendaraiml add-on.
Do I need to write code or install an app for my guests?
No custom code is needed for Calendaraiml’s built-in reminder setup. Your guests book through a web link and receive SMS on the mobile number they provide; they do not need to install Calendaraiml or AiMLText.
Can I send more than one reminder?
Yes. Select multiple intervals in SMS settings. Only reminder times that are still in the future when a booking is created are scheduled. For example, a booking made two hours before the appointment can still receive a one-hour reminder.
When do changes to reminder timing take effect?
Choose your intervals before guests book. The selected reminder times are saved when each booking is created, so new settings apply to new bookings.
Can I also share a meeting I scheduled myself?
Yes. After scheduling a meeting, use Copy link, SMS, or WhatsApp to share its private invitation. SMS opens your messaging app for you to send. The recipient can view the details and accept or decline without signing in. Automatic SMS reminders described on this page apply to the booking-page flow.
